This project accompanied an exhibit showcasing the representation of bicycles in historical media. Before I designed the pamphlet, I constructed the exhibit by collecting and placing poster boards in a strategic manner around the office. My main goal with the presentation of these poster boards was to adhere to certain themes, such as the Rise of the Bicycle, Sports, and Safety, as well as paying attention to ease of understanding for visitors who did not come from a history background. When the exhibit was finished, I was instructed to create a print product that would be handed out at the beginning of the exhibit in order to further aid the visitor. I had a lot of freedom with the pamphlet, with just a simple request to maintain the logo, company name, and location on the back. The fonts that I chose were significant for this type of project. My main goal was to go for a historical document or newspaper, hence the serif font and black and white photos. I maintained the green and white color scheme to match the university.
